Biography -
I don't know what to do. Father left me before i was born. He didn't care. All i ever wanted was a dad. But i know now, for sure, that i never will have one.
What should i do?
i know my forest, i know every tree by its first name, i know the use of every plant. I would not be able to survive outside of its protective bark.
But i have no choice.
Mother died years ago - she fell from the top of a tree whilst we were trying to run from ousiders - people who are not welcome in our wood. She sought an escape for us - myself, her and my big brother. She fell from the tree, my brther ran straight into the outsider's arms, saying that he would prtect us, and i ran. I ran for all i was worth. He never came back.
Since then, i lived with my grandmother. She taught me how to harness my gifts, both of my animal form and of my innate healing powers. She helped me so much.
But now she has gone and left me behind as well.
She has been wasting away for months now. she has used her time only to teach me as much as she could. Now she is dead. With her last moments, she gave me her staff - crystal attoped - a small, opalite sphere and a name.
'Seek Brother Jherimiah.' she told me. 'And he shall point you in the direction of Salabaza, your father. Its about time he took some responsibility.' I will never forget her face - wry and sarcastic. No diferent than usual. She told me to go. I obeyed. I wasn't there for her when she died. I hope someone was.
And now i'm running, running away from my home, my past, my family. Hopefully, someone will be able to help me.
