Cool! I think I might start collecting them and reading them here and there. They sound very weird and at least some a lot cooler in terms of fantasy, than your typical elves, dwarves, small people, orcs, etc.
When I was little I remember I used to like Return To Oz (1985 movie), because it wasn't a musical and it was a lot darker than the original. I believe it's a collaboration of a few of the books, mixed with some of the original movie's elements. It's the same Dorothy that visits, except she is 9 years old in the movie (which is closer to the books apparently, and the original movie she was 16 years old which isn't true to the books).
But yeah... Thanks Rubah, I will definitely look into them if you suggest them. |
