Last RP was a bust (like only 2~3 people are posting actively) so might as well create a new one. Close my other one.

Note: No this is not Tolkien based.

Story
Long ago, a powerful demon (ony known as the Nameless One), rose from the ranks of other high level demons and tried to conquer the world of man. The land was plagued by monsters and evil creatures. Just as the world fell out of hope, nine warriors, each possessing a powerful ring, battled the Nameless One and his horde. They managed to defeat NO and managed to seal it in the very depths of the underworld. The battle resulted in a neutral truce between the magical and human community. Fearing the same war would cause a war between the two worlds, the Elders released a special 'dust' that erased the memory regarding magic and other mystical ideas. This does not, however totally erased everything (as we all know magic but we do not truly believe it exists). The underworld, was never too happy with the truce, (and knowing demons) wrecked havoc through the land, discreetly, each attack appears as mysterious or mind baffling, forcing investigators to abandone each case.

2038...
The world has drastically changed. State capitals have evolved from normal busy streets to technologically advanced metros. Other major cities all over the world have also evolved. The world, however has also gone harsher. Wiccans, Cults and Pagan religions have become a taboo, having the punishment of death regardless of age, gender or status.

Forest at the outskirts of San Francisco, 20 years ago...
A group of teenagers were doing their annual wiccan ritual, summoning their ancestors. They lived double lives, not telling their own families about what they are and what they could do. They were The Nine, a group of extremely powerful witches (men are also called witches). Their bloodlines have been constantly battling the forces of evil and has been protecting the greater good for centuries. One event however changed it all...

2. No god modding or any other character controlling. Before controlling demons or magical creatures, please send a PM first.
3. Max of three posts per person. We all live in different time zones IRL, if is Day in me, then Night in you and vice versa. Unless conversing with someone within your own timezone.
4. Avoid magical exposure. It has nasty consequences, other than character's death.
