The PSX version to me was pretty great, the load times aren't nearly as bad as FFVI and (what I've heard) Chrono Trigger versions for the PSX. Although an SNES will always run it smoother, so maybe the rom would work out good, you should check reviews for the fan translation. The GBA version I heard is good, but I know sound can be a little worse and portions of the battle background are cut out to fit the screen.
But overall I think you couldn't go wrong with any version of the game. |
