This thread, and the fact most people here are unaware of silpheeds legacy of being positively average, makes me feel feel very very old.
The original
Silpheed was published for a system you youngins may not have heard of; The Sega CD. It was a decent game that had the selling point of being more fun to look at then it was to play once upon a time. This was way back in 1993 I think.
Then came the Pseudo
sequel for the PS2. nothing special.
And now
project sylpheed. Is sega making money off this, or did they sell the liscense to whoever did the PS2 version?
Hmmm, maybe Sega should do a Sega CD compilation. There are still a few decent titles from that wreck of a system that havn't been ported yet.
