Avatar: Maybe I'm just a little slow right now, but for me, the words flash by a little too quickly It took me two or three passes to be able to makeout what it says. Also, the image doesn't seem very clear. But animated avatars catch my eye more, and the words look very nice against the what background, when you see them

Sig: Well, I'm a big fan of most things FFIV and Cecil, and this is no exception. I especially like how you keep it from looking too cluttered or crowded. However, I personally like signature and avatars that tie into each other somewhat. Also, the quote seems a little out of place, but it definetly makes me think of Raistlin. Still, very nice.
