Apparently you've been misled. The Soul of Chaos dungeons are completely new and weren't present in any previous version of the game. Lich, Marilith, Kraken, and Tiamat are still in the same places they've always been.
and B) i've torn mermaid village apart looking for anything and everything to help.
I've already told you that the Adamantite is in the Sky Castle. The mermaid village is not the Sky Castle.
