Thinking of Garnet was also my initial reaction. It's magnificent, though I do agree with Jelli, the arms do seem to be slightly uneven, but that doesn't really take away from the piece unless you're really looking closely.
Most of all I love the coloring job. I've always been terribly afraid of colors, as I can't use them effectively. Again, magnificently done. |
